Each respule contains Budesonide 0.5 mg and Levosalbutamol 1.25 mg.
Therapeutic Indications
BUDEMOL respules are indicated in the regular treatment of asthma and in the regular long-term treatment of moderate-to-severe COPD.
Dosage and Administration
Adults (including elderly patients and individuals over 12 years):
Asthma: One respule twice a day.
COPD: One respule twice a day.
The contents of the respules are for inhalation use only, using a standard jet nebuliser. BUDEMOL should be administered by the inhaled route via a standard jet nebuliser connected to an air compressor. If the recommended maintenance treatment regimen fails to provide the usual response, medical advice should be sought immediately, as this is often a sign of destabilization of COPD. Under these circumstances, the therapeutic regimen should be re-evaluated and additional therapeutic options should be considered.
